How to improve your AdSense income

We have redesigned and re-organised a couple of websites where the new design attracted more AdSense income than before the makeover. Why is this?

There may be several reasons:

The new design gives website readers fresh ‘enthusiasm’ and this results in more AdSense clicks.
The makeover improves the website structure and presents the website content in a better way than before. As a result, web visitors stay on more pages, and click on more AdSense ads.
The redesign changes the Adsense position, colours and layout and this is a more effective combination than previously.
The new design incentivizes you to add fresh content and more pages, and your readers like it (see #1) – with more clicks as a result.

Conclusion

It’s well worth it. Even if the makeover is a subtle one, this often has the effect of making you look at the website with ‘new eyes’ and can provide new ideas for AdSense – and for your web content.
