Interesting links this week
I wrote this post a while back. The content can still be relevant but the information I've linked to may not be available.
We often come across new applications and web stuff. In no particular order, here’s a few interesting links that we found this week.
Lovely Charts is a free online diagramming application that looks very easy to use. Check out the screencast for a demo. If you regularly create diagrams like wireframes, flow charts, site maps, and organisational charts, this might be the online application for you.
Monitor your website status with this site watcher AIR application from the chaps at Headscape. More and more AIR applications are hitting my desktop these days and this one looks very useful if you want to check your server or website status.
Web Design + is a collection of web standards solutions for web development and design problems, as seen through the eyes of Harry Roberts. The website is aimed at beginner web developers but it’s also a useful resource for more experienced web developers if you want a quick and short refresher on something.
Project Pier is a free, open-source, self-hosted PHP application for managing tasks, projects and teams. I am looking into something like this for CVW Web Design at the moment so it’s particularly relevant.
That’s all for now. If this type of post is interesting for you, let me know in the comments below and I’ll make it a regular thing.

I used Project Pier to tackle updates to a site with another developer. It does keep you quite organized and on course.
