Five favourite web developer blogs
I wrote this post a while back. The content can still be relevant but the information I've linked to may not be available.
I realised recently that I follow a lot of web developer blogs. Here’s a few of my personal faves (in no particular order).
- I figure I should know more about JavaScript so I read Jeremy Keith’s Adactio and Dom Scripting blogs. I have the Dom Scripting book as well which has been a good read so far.
- With a name like Smiley Cat, how can you not like it? Seriously, there are some great web design articles here. I particularly like the ‘round-up’ articles. As the strapline says, “web design thinking inside the box”.
- SolutionWatch has some great reviews of web software written with insight.
- Yes, yes, I know. Everyone has 456 Berea Street in their favourite blogs. That’s probably because it has in-depth articles about CSS, web standards, accessibility and usability. Fair enough.
- Not strictly speaking a web developer blog but if you run a few personal websites like I do, you may want to learn more Inside AdSense.
That’s it for now. I’ll be publishing a few more of my favorites in the next article in this series.
